USB Speedometer
The USB Speedometer measures how fast you’re typing and also how many words you’ve typed per day.
Extremely good for the obsessive amongst you. Of course you could just hit the buttons really fast like the old Daley Thompson Olympic game when you’re doing the hurdles or 100 metres.
£11, the faster you type the cheaper it is per word.

Freeloader – Portable Solar Energy
This is a great piece of modern geekery, a portable solar charger. It uses solar panels to gain the energy to recharge most things such as MP3 players, mobile phones or USB devices.
It comes with a load of attachments so most devices can be given some extra juice. It doesn’t have to be blazing sunshine either, which is lucky for us Brits.
£30 buys you unlimited energy for eternity…shhhh, don’t tell Shell or BP.
